Theatre Dance Session II

Theatre Dance session II will begin on Monday November 16. A new time has been added to the schedule.Please call the studio to enroll your child in the next session. Please indicate the time and level your child is enrolling into. This is an eight week session and cost $140 for 8 weeks not including Holidays. The teacher is Janetta Betz.

Theatre Dance (Grades K-2nd grade) Mon:4:15-5 &5-5:45

An introductory to musical theatre class that is fun-filled and energetic. Children learn acting, singing and dancing skills in a comfortable and nurturing environment. Children will also learn classic animated stories and music. The first step to fulfilling your child’s dream to perform is to provide them with necessary skills A favorite throughout Westchester.

Theatre Dance II Grades3rd-6th Mon- 5:45-6:30: A Jazz technique class with elements of Ballet & Modern to train young dancers. Broadway & Movie Musicals Choreography styles will be explored in each class. From Annie to A Chorus Line, decades of dancing fun.

Students come dressed in Jazz class attire including hair up and off the face:

Black dance pants or leggings, any color top, leotard or tank top, jazz shoes or ballet slippers.

Logo Wear to order

Our only order before the holidays is available. Forms have been emailed and there are some available at the studio.

New this year, long sleeve shirts and sweat pants. T-shirts, bags, sweatshirts are also available.

Please bring in your form (2 pages) with a check payable to Linton Dance.

credit cards are available as well as phone orders. Orders must be complete before calling.

Orders are due by November 20, 2009 ! Orders  will arrive in time for the Holidays!

Parent Child Classes Fall ‘09

Come and enjoy a special moment with your little one in our Parent Child Classes.
Classes are  for 8 weeks, once a week with the option of continuing after the session is completed.
Classes are $140 for the 8 weeks.Children and adults should wear comfortable movable clothing and skid resistant socks or bare feet.

Little Movers- Crawlers will be encouraged to walk, play with instruments, and other props. Gross and fine motor skills will be further developed with the help of their grownup.

Toddler Movement - 12months+: Toddlers will improve their gross and fine motor movements, spacial relationship,  listening and following simple movement task. They will make music, use props with help from their grown up.

Little Feet Movement 2yrs+: This is the last of the milestone parent child classes. Children will begin to learn how to take turns, follow instructions given by the teacher, continue improving gross motor movement, music recognition and music playing.

How to Register For Fall/Spring 2009-2010 Dance Classes

New Students to Linton Dance:
To Register for Fall 2009-2010 or Spring 2010 classes, please call the studio at 205-3455 or email to jessica@lintondance.com your request for enrollment stating if your child has taken a dance class, what previous level, the age of your child, their birthdate including the year and the style of dance they want to take. Your child will be placed in an appropriate class based on their level, age and maturity. Your child may attend 1 trial class before enrolling in a dance class. Please call the studio to schedule a trail class.
You will then be instructed to view the schedule on line at lintondance.com to choose a day and time for your child to attend class. You may at this time come by the studio to register in person, or you can mail your payment in full with a registration form to     Linton Dance

Registration is ongoing until the week of November 30, 2009. You will be charged a pro-rated price.

Registration for Spring -2010 Classes Begin February 1, 20010

                                        Registration begins December 1, 2010

Current students registered in classes and will continue in Semester II - Spring session will be required to pre-register for Spring 2009 - 2010. Most students will remain in the class and time they are currently enrolled in.
A deposit of $100 per class or student  is due by December 1, 2009. This is mandatory.
 Deposits are not dependent on School schedules or other schedules. Deposits are mandatory to be placed in a class. Deposits not made can result in your child loosing a place in class and tuition will be charged a $25 no deposit fee. Deposits are refundable , when canceled no later than 1 week prior to the session. Spring  classes begin February 1, 2010.
Students new to Linton Dance and not currently enrolled in classes may pay a $100 deposit per class or student by December 1st - and the balance will be due by January 2, 2010.
For new students not currently enrolled in classes: If you choose not to leave a deposit and wish to pay your tuition at the time of registration,tuition must be paid prior to the start of classes - no later than January 11, 2010. This  does not apply to enrolled students.
 
All tuition balances are due by January 2, 2010. Tuition balances paid after January 4, 2009 will be charged a $15 late fee. All students, returning and new students to Linton Dance must pay their tuition  prior to the start of the semester, not the day of class. Students can not begin classes until balances and tuition is paid.
                                        Classes begin February 1, 2010.

Linton Dance “Dance Parties”

Celebrate your child’s next birthday with a 1 1/2 hour birthday party.
Birthday parties include 45min-1hour of instructional fun, dance games, music or art projects depending on the party theme.
All guests will receive a goody bag with 3 substantial items. The Birthday child will also receive a Linton Dance gift.

Linton Dance provides all paper goods, drinks, utensils, balloons for decoration, banner, pizza or bagels and fruit for morning parties. Linton Dance also makes signs to help your guests find the party.
Linton Dance does not provide food for parents of guests.Parents supplying food for adult guest are asked to keep it simple, providing fruit or vegetable platters. No catered food.

Parties during the summer have a choice of Saturday ONLY beginning at 11am and the last party beginning at 3:30
(June 23 -Early Sept-before Labor Day)
Parties during the school year are on Saturday beginning at 1:00, last party beginning at 3:30 and Sunday beginning at 11:00 and the last party beginning at 2:30.
(after Labor Day-June 22)
There are no parties scheduled during school vacations or holidays. During winter months, there are no parties on Sundays.
Parties begin and end on time. Parties will not be extended for late arrivals. Parties that run past the scheduled time is subject to a fee. Parties canceled 1 week prior may receive a deposit refund. Parties affected by inclement weather can be rescheduled.Parties can also be rescheduled by Linton Dance if weather or other circumstances prevent a party from taking place.

You supply your cake and candles, we do the rest. Dance Parties are $250 for the maximum of 15 children. A deposit of $100 is required to book a party. Your theme should be selected at the time of booking.
The balance is due the day of the party.

Parties for children 5yrs  and older are encouraged  to have guests dropped off. Please limit the number of extended family guest and parents of guest for space regulation.

Parties are hosted at Linton Dance by one of our qualified staff.
